Beginning your daily bean journey…with Pizza Beans!
More and more folks are realizing just how beneficial beans are when added daily to your meals. 1/2 cup to start is advised for your stomach to get used to the change, with a goal of 1 cup a day. Some folks even push it to two cups a day, though I will admit that is a lot for the average person. Don’t forget to rinse canned beans to reduce sodium by up to 40% and it helps reduce a gassy tummy.
Benefits of eating beans every day
Of course the fiber is fantastic, but beans also are good for heart health, lowering cholesterol, weight management, blood sugar regulation, improving digestive health, not to mention all the good nutrients!
