Teriyaki Avocado Pineapple Burgers

A flavor packed teriyaki burger topped with fresh avocado and juicy pineapple slices that have been cooked in brown sugar and butter.

Teriyaki Burgers are near and dear to my foodie heart. When I was growing up, they were available from a restaurant named Spike’s Teriyaki Bowl. My family would make quite a long trip to get teriyaki burgers and teriyaki chicken rice bowls. This recipe is inspired by that memory of the delicious burgers I enjoyed as a child.

The family restaurant legacy of the teriyaki burger and bowls continues, so if you happen to be in Pasadena, California, you can visit B-Man’s to try them in person. If you are like me and live a long way away, you can make a delicious homemade version from the comfort of your own kitchen. Enjoy!
