Stovetop Instructions: In a heavy sauce pot over medium heat, combine the sauce ingredients and stir. Heat until the brown sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes. Add the Lil' Smokies, pineapple chunks if using, and stir to coat them well in the sauce. Cook until bubbling and cooked through, about 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
Slow Cooker Instructions: In the bottom of your slow cooker, add all the sauce ingredients and stir well to combine. Add the Lil' Smokies and pineapple and stir to coat. Cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 3-4.
Notes
If using frozen Lil' Smokies, you will have to cook for a little bit longer. I would start by adding a half hour to an hour and check them at that point.Recipe slightly adapted from Family Fresh Meals.
