Cheesy Shrimp Ciabatta

For out last get together I made this delicious Cheesy Shrimp Ciabatta. This is an appetizer that shrimp fans will love. In our family this is one of our most favorite recipes. It's so delicious!

You can go with a baguette instead if you would like bite sized portions, but it is hard to beat a fresh loaf of ciabatta bread. The baguette slices will get much crunchier so if you prefer that mouth feel, you can go with a baguette. A fresh French bread would also work great. Enjoy!

Fresh Pear Crumble Pie

Recently I found myself with a bag of pears all beginning to ripe at the same time. I considered a few recipes but settled on this delicious Fresh Pear Crumble Pie. It was a big hit at our house with adults and children alike. It has a wonderful sour cream layer with sliced pears on top, and on top of that, a buttery crumble topping.

With a few extra pears to still use up, I'm considering making another of these babies. The same recipe made twice in the same week shows what a winner this one is. Enjoy!

Slow Cooker Loaded Potato Soup

Luxurious potato soup loaded with bacon, cheese and sour cream sure hits the spot during the cold months. Enjoy!

Amish Meatloaf

I can't rave enough about this recipe for Amish Meatloaf. It is addicting. Did you know meatloaf could be addicting? It is!

I have tried two sweet meatloaf recipes recently. The difference between the two recipes lies in where the sweet component is. In this recipe, the brown sugar is mixed into the meat, with a basic ketchup glaze on top. My other favorite meatloaf recipe has a pineapple preserve glaze on top, so the sweet factor is primarily on top. I love them both, but if I had to choose just one favorite, it would be the Amish Meatloaf.
