Cheesy Shrimp Ciabatta

For out last get together I made this delicious Cheesy Shrimp Ciabatta. This is an appetizer that shrimp fans will love. In our family this is one of our most favorite recipes. It's so delicious!

You can go with a baguette instead if you would like bite sized portions, but it is hard to beat a fresh loaf of ciabatta bread. The baguette slices will get much crunchier so if you prefer that mouth feel, you can go with a baguette. A fresh French bread would also work great. Enjoy!

Cherry Amaretto Chocolate Chip Cookies

Greetings friends. I hope you had a good holiday season. I am so ready to get on to 2017, but first I have a few Christmas cookie recipes to post as well as my yearly best recipes.

The flavors of cherry and Amaretto are some of my all time favorites, so I knew I had to make these. Buttery, sweet and delicious.

Best Homemade Pecan Sandies

Pecan Sandies are delicious cookies for those that enjoy the simpler things. This is not a style of cookie that is packed with chocolate chips, candy or marshmallows. The base is a buttery cookie studded with lots of chopped pecans and the exterior is rolled in sugar before baking, giving it a crisp "sandy" texture.

This recipe makes five dozen, so pick up a few decorative cookie tins, pack them with this gems and give them to your relatives this Christmas.

Favorite Eggnog Recipes Collection (Updated 2016)

Here are a few of my favorite eggnog recipes to enjoy this holiday season.

I think my most favorite is the Moist Cranberry Eggnog Bread directly below. It is incredible. I've even used it in a trifle. I cubed the cranberry eggnog bread and for the filling I combined a package of instant vanilla pudding with eggnog (however much it calls for on the package, I think it might be 2 cups.) After that has set for a few minutes, combine it with a container of cool whip. Mix with an electric hand mixer then layer in a trifle dish. Fantastic. Enjoy!
