What made these over the top delish was the honey mustard, so I urge you not to skip that ingredient. I didn’t have any on hand that was pre-made so I mixed up equal parts of Dijon mustard and honey and it worked out great.

Ingredients Needed

  • 8 oz. can crescent roll dough (8 crescents per can)
  • 8 tsp honey mustard plus extra for dipping
  • 4 slices baby Swiss cheese halved
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 8 whole fully cooked chicken tenders

Method

  1. Bake chicken tenders, set aside.
  2. Spread honey mustard on crescent rolls.
  3. Layer cheese, ham, and chicken tender on each crescent.
  4. Roll up crescents and bake for 18-20 minutes.

Variations

  • Bacon Lover’s Twist: Add a piece of cooked bacon in addition to the ham and cheese for an extra savory twist.
  • BBQ Bliss: Substitute honey mustard with BBQ sauce for a tangy and smoky flavor. Add a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese on top for an extra cheesy twist.
  • Spicy Kick: Mix some hot sauce or sriracha into the honey mustard for a spicy twist. Substitute the Swiss cheese for a slice of pepper jack cheese for an extra kick.
  • Sweet and Savory: Spread a thin layer of apricot jam on the crescent rolls before adding the ham and cheese for a sweet and savory twist.

  3. So if I'm using frozen chicken fingers do I have to cook it before I do the rest of the steps or will it all cook together ?
