Ultra Creamy and Rich Sweet Noodle Kugel
Noodle Kugels are new to me and I think I hit the jackpot with this recipe. This Ultra Creamy Sweet Noodle Kugel is a must try with its velvety custard and an amazing graham cracker topping.
It was fantastic, I can’t stress that enough. The ratio of the custard to the noodles was perfect.
When I was researching recipes, I knew I wanted a recipe that had fewer noodles and a bit more custard. I went with a sweet graham cracker topping which was the perfect accent.
Serve warm and enjoy!

I've only ever made one kugel and I didn't like the recipe. Yours looks delicious, so maybe I need to give it another go. I think I would like more custard, less pasta as well.
I hope you do. When I made this I also made a totally different kugel recipe (with more noodles) to see the difference in texture. This one here is the winner – so very good.
Carlee. If you do less noodles & more custard, then it is not Kugel. LOL..If you like raisins then put maybe a 1/4 cup or so of those in. try this one first as it is, bet you will like it.
Interesting. I've never heard of this. Sounds really tasty though!
How long do you bake this for?
Apologies for leaving that part out. I updated the recipe.
Those look hella yummy! 🙂
Could this be fine if cooking the night before and then reheating the day of?
Yes I think so Adam. I thought the leftovers were just as delicious the next day. I would be careful if you bake it a second time. Personally I haven't tried that, I reheated it the 2nd day in the microwave. So I would just be careful not to bake too too long on the reheat. Good luck 🙂
Can i make this ahead and freeze it?
Hi Alegria, I haven’t tried that with this recipe so I can’t say if it would work or not. My assumption would be that it would be best served fresh, not frozen.
Can I prepare this on advance and cook the next day?
Thank you
Hi Barbara – I haven’t tried that out so honestly I am not sure how well it would hold up making it in advance. Sorry I can’t be of help.
Thank you so much! I love this recipe! Always wanted to make a noodle kugel. Loved the ingredients so I had to try! I baked it for 55 minutes and it was perfect! Thanks again!
Glad you liked it Rachel 🙂
