Many thanks to Real Mom Kitchen for this recipe for delicious Hula Melts. If you are like our family and are limited on time, try this recipe out. I also would have liked it with provolone cheese. Real Mom Kitchen baked her sandwiches in the oven, but I saved a bit of time by heating in a saute pan.
Hula Melts
Makes several servings
Hoagie Rolls
Deli Ham
Sliced Pineapple
Barbecue Sauce
Deli Swiss Cheese
butter for rolls
1. Layer sandwich ingredients on hoagie rolls. Heat a saute pan to medium high. Spread a little bit of soft butter to the outside of the hoagies. Place sandwiches in saute pan, heating on each side until crispy and brown. While heating, press sandwich down a bit to flatten it. Serve warm.

ReplyDeleteThese were a hit with my family. I love to try new recipe's- especially simple ones. I used hamburger buns and provolone cheese for mine, and broiled them open faced under the broiler. Yummy! Thanks again for sharing. Love all the recipes you post ( :
